Thank-you for visiting my web-site, I am Andrea Kenny owner of AK Charms. It is a small jewelry business that specializes in custom designs. I work with independent jewelers that I have had a relationship with since 1990. Previous to this business, (and three children), I had a business named The AK Collection Inc. I manufactured lapel pins, that were displayed and sold on a greeting card. The pins were sold in over 1000 gifts stores across the USA. The charms that I sell today came from an idea that stemmed from my children's parish school. Knowing that I had been in the jewelry business for many years, a friend suggested I replicate our school's church in a sterling silver charm. They wanted to sell charms at the school auction. The school loved the idea and the charms sold out. I approached other schools and churches in the area and they too wanted a charm designed for their school or church. Since then I have been making charms not only for schools and churches, but also various organizations that want to offer a quality piece of jewelry that has sentimental meaning.
